1. Who we are

BeJaunty (“we”, “us”) is operated by JauntyM, an independent software developer based in Lahore, Pakistan. We build and sell extensions and plugins for forum and website platforms such as phpBB and WordPress through this website, bejaunty.com. You can reach us at jaunty.mellifluous@gmail.com.

2. Acceptance of these terms

By accessing this website, downloading our free products, or purchasing a paid product, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the site or our products.

3. Products and licensing

Our software products are licensed under the GNU General Public License, version 2 (GPL-2.0), unless stated otherwise on the product page. The GPL governs your rights to use, modify, and redistribute the code itself.

Paid (“Pro”) products additionally come with a license key. The license key does not restrict your GPL rights to the code; it controls access to official builds, automatic updates, license-gated services, and our support, for the number of sites/boards and the period stated at purchase (typically one board for one year, unless otherwise specified).

4. Purchases and payment

Orders on this site are processed by our online reseller Paddle.com, who act as the Merchant of Record for all paid orders. Paddle handles payment processing, applicable taxes (such as VAT or sales tax), invoicing, and payment-related customer service. Your purchase is also subject to Paddle’s terms and privacy policy, presented at checkout.

Prices are listed in US dollars unless stated otherwise and may change at any time; changes do not affect orders already completed.

5. Delivery

Products are delivered digitally. After a successful payment you will receive your download and/or license key by email and, where applicable, in your order confirmation. Nothing is shipped physically.

6. Refunds

Paid products are covered by the money-back guarantee described in our Refund Policy. Refunds are processed through Paddle.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to use this website or our products to violate any applicable law, to infringe the rights of others, to distribute malware, or to attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or those of third parties. We may suspend license services (such as updates and support) for keys involved in abuse, fraud, or chargeback misuse.

8. Support and updates

Support and updates for paid products are provided for the duration of an active license. We aim to respond promptly but do not guarantee specific response times. Free products are provided as-is, with community-level support at our discretion.

9. Disclaimer of warranty

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our products and this website are provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the software will be error-free or uninterrupted, or that it will be compatible with every server environment, theme, style, or other extension.

You are responsible for maintaining backups of your website and database before installing or updating any software.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of or relating to any product or this website shall not exceed the amount you paid for the product in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim. We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, or goodwill.

11. Third-party platforms

phpBB, WordPress, and other platform names are trademarks of their respective owners. Our products are independent works and are not affiliated with or endorsed by those projects unless explicitly stated.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top reflects the latest revision. Continued use of the site or products after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Mandatory consumer-protection rules of your country of residence remain unaffected where they apply.
