Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 13, 2026

1. Overview

This policy explains what personal data bejaunty.com (“we”, “us”) collects, why, and what your choices are. We keep it deliberately simple: we collect as little as we can, and we do not sell personal data.

2. What we collect

Order information. When you purchase a paid product, the checkout is operated by Paddle.com as Merchant of Record. Paddle collects the data needed to process your payment (such as your name, email address, country, and payment details). We receive from Paddle your name, email address, order details, and license information — never your full payment card details.

Contact messages. If you email us or use a contact form, we receive the information you choose to send (typically your name, email, and message) and use it to respond.

License activations. Paid products may transmit your license key and the domain of the site where it is activated, so we can validate the license and deliver updates.

Technical logs. Like virtually all websites, our hosting provider keeps standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested, timestamps) for security and troubleshooting. These are retained for a limited time.

Comments and accounts. If you comment on our blog or register an account, WordPress stores the data you submit (name, email, comment content) and may set the cookies described below.

3. Cookies

We use only functional cookies set by WordPress (for example, to keep you logged in or remember comment details). If we later add analytics, we will use a privacy-respecting configuration and update this policy. Third-party services we embed (such as the Paddle checkout) may set their own cookies, governed by their policies.

4. How we use data

We use the data above to deliver products and license keys, provide support and updates, respond to messages, prevent fraud and abuse, comply with legal obligations, and (only if you opt in) send occasional product news. We do not sell or rent personal data, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.

5. Who we share data with

Only the service providers needed to run this site: Paddle.com (payments, tax, invoicing, as Merchant of Record — see the Paddle privacy policy), our web hosting provider, and our email provider. Each processes data only to provide their service. We may disclose data if required by law.

6. International transfers

We are based in Pakistan and our service providers operate globally, so your data may be processed outside your country. Providers such as Paddle apply recognized safeguards for international transfers.

7. Retention

Order and license records are kept for as long as needed to provide updates and support and to meet accounting obligations. Contact messages are kept as long as needed to handle your request. Server logs rotate automatically.

8. Your rights

Depending on your location (for example under the GDPR or similar laws), you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal data, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent. To exercise any of these rights, email jaunty.mellifluous@gmail.com. For data held by Paddle as Merchant of Record, we will assist you, and you may also contact Paddle directly.

9. Children

This site and our products are not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their data.

10. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time; the date at the top reflects the latest revision.
